Also! I realize that I neglected last week to mention last week's page? Shame on me! Especially because it is actually my very favorite page from the entire comic so far! It has action, it has drama, it gave me an opportunity to play around with interesting methods of expressive visual narration, AND it features the big introduction of one of the story’s best characters: M.O.O.N. Agent Andra Speck! (I just adore her.)

Also, here's a thing that I've been hard at work on for the past many weeks! This year I was asked to be part of the Legends of Terror Haunted House committee, so I've been busy, busy, busy, busy writing the story, getting the lighting and special effects in place, figuring out costumes and makeup, directing a large cast of actors, and just generally working to make everything come together. My life: consumed by restless spirits.

If you’re anywhere near Grand Forks, North Dakota, and you’ve got ten bucks and a desire for some major scares, you should totally stop by on Friday or Saturday night. It’s seriously scary. Seriously. >:)

Also, WHAT? I’ve got two new pages of Dis?? WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?? I’m really sorry about the general lack of pages forever. Painful confession? Long-form storytelling isn't for me. Spending hundreds and thousands of pages on the same damn story? Sigh. But I didn’t know that when I started this comic. I was young and naïve when I started this story, and most of my comics-reading experience was with manga series that last a gazillion volumes until they're eventually canceled, with "story arcs" rather than cut-and-dried "stories" and I didn't knowwwwwwwwww, you guys!

Gearin' up for the radness that is the Zombie Music Fest, I found myself in the Grand Forks Herald. I was contacted because they wanted a "zombie expert" to explain the appeal of zombies in pop culture. This article was the result.

All good ghouls and boys will want to be in Grand Forks Town Square (that's downtown at the corner of Demers Ave. and 3rd St, on the river bank) at 3pm for music and monsters and games and beer and every good thing. I, myself, will be providing the caricatures of the undead for the whole while, and it will be absolutely zombiriffic.

Be there or be dead!

Today at Monster Plus our hero pays an unexpected visit to the local Museum of Acceptable History. It's about to get all educational up in here! (Also, there might be some more smashing things.)
